I am an asian muslim woman living in UK. I enjoy working with people of varied faith and culture at my workplace(british, european, asian, australian etc). I respect everyones freedom and choices. I socialise with my colleagues. But I dont drink alcohol and thus dont participate during booze nights with colleagues.And I am not comfortable going to discotheques and clubs etc. But I go out with them for dinners and so on.
I work hard. I don’t break any laws and pay my taxes and do not use any benefits.

I referred to myself as an ‘asian muslim’ coz I was born in Asia and am a muslim. How can I change that and why should I?

What do u mean by british first? How do u want me to change to be british first?
When I say I am a muslim, I mean
1. I believe in respect for all
2. I believe in peace
3. I believe in law and order
4. I believe in living righteously
5. I dont have casual sex
6. I dress modestly.

And like every other person, I want to work hard and enjoy life.
