What is the criteria for judging a country club on?

When going to an established country club you must first have someone that is a member that will recommend you. The members vote so you must network and positively influence the other members. That is if there is even an opening in the country club many of the major country clubs in my area have waiting lists that are years long. Some clubs even require that you have multiple generations of your family reside in the city. Just to join you will probably shell out a minimum of 50K. Yeah it is really kinda snooty…are you sure you want to join?
