Is a black cowell neck long sleeve sweater dress appropriate to wear to a country club?

It’s short, but not too short. Supposedly this is a casual dinner, but I still want to look nice. I’m thinking with black tights, and tan boots. Or black shoes. Any input would be helpful!

   Sounds good to me. Don’t wear a necklace. Neat earrings, a bracelet, or a ring would look better. The black tights will be modest. Concentrate on looking good from the waist up — a neat swept-back hair style, makeup not too heavy.

   You’ll see a fascinating bunch of overdressed rich b*tches. Don’t emulate them!
