Basically what country team reminds you of what Premiership team. Heres mine in order of the league table standings (17/01/09). and yes I am REALLY that bored. lol. If you dont want to do it, then feel free to give your opinion on mine.
1 Manchester United (Brazil)
Why> Best club in the Premiership and usually the favourites to win any match theyre in. They take the best (even though I **** them).
2 Liverpool (Spain)
Why> Brilliant team with quality and skill. Unfortunately can only win things once in a blue moon.
3 Chelsea (Argentina)
Why> Maybe not as good as Man U or Brazil but definately close. They both have potential to be superstars.
4 Aston Villa (Holland)
Why> Some of the best players in the world play for this team but might lack the ability to actually win silverware. Definately have potential tho.
5 Arsenal (Germany)
Why>Was brilliant once upon a time ago and still are. Should be in the top of anyones book. However dont seem to be winning anything and wont do for a while.
6 Everton (Portugal)
Why> You cant deny how good some individuals play. Youll always hear about them no matter how good/bad they do.
7 Wigan Athletic (Senegal)
Why> Maybe not the best team in the world but always manage to embarass their critics with some top performances.
8 Hull City (Croatia)
Not the best team in the world and players arent well known except the odd 1 or 2. However can upset the best of teams.
9 Fulham (USA)
Why> A team youd expect to get into competitions but at the same time, not really the team you’d expect to win anything.
10 West Ham United (Turkey)
Why> Up and coming team with bags of potential but dont seem to have the best luck. Not a bad team to watch though.
11 Manchester City (Italy)
Why> Looks like they want to win by any means necesary and seem to have the resources to do so. Top 4 side coming up.
12 Bolton Wanderers (Russia)
Why> Not the best team but might be a little underrated. Seems to do well and dont struggle with pressure as much as other teams.
13 Newcastle United (Nigeria)
Why> Legends come and go from the toon and have a few winning streaks but it might be some time before we see them back to their glory days
14 Sunderland (Cameroon)
Not a top flight team and might be a while before they become the best but have a colourful history and after a few seasons, could make it to possibly europe. Not a team youd expect to win anything though.
15 Portsmouth (Greece)
Why> Usually they go through their highs and lows but never count them out as they are a top side.
16 Blackburn Rovers (France)
Why> Once top of the world but arent doing so well recently even though they host top players. Unfortunately they seem to be sinking lower and lower and lower.
17 Middlesbrough (Czech Republic)
Why> Fantastic team but do get a little unlucky in individual games. Maybe a change of leadership might help them out a little.
18 Stoke City (Austallia)
Why> Good team but unfortunately not good enough to deal with the worlds contenders. Are still able to pull off an upset tho.
19 West Bromwich Albion (Mexico)
Why> Very rarely noticed since coming up to the Premiership but might get mentioned here or there.
20 Tottenham Hotspur (England)
Why> The most unpredictive team in the Premiership. Always tipped to do big things but never pull it off. You never know. Are they gonna get relegated or are they going into Europe. Both being a possibility.
